From Our Home to Yours
The Nine Acre Puppy Process
Bringing home one of our littles is exciting, and we want the process to feel personal, transparent, and easy to understand. From your first application through go-home day, we’ll be here to guide you every step of the way.
How It Works
01
Apply
Start by completing our puppy application. This helps us learn a little about you, your home, and what you’re looking for in a Boston Terrier.
Becoming a Nine Acre Family
02
Let’s Connect
After we receive your application, we’ll reach out to talk more, answer questions, and make sure a Nine Acre Boston is the right fit for your family.
03
Join the Waitlist
Approved families can join our free waitlist for upcoming litters. We’ll keep you updated on breeding plans, pregnancy confirmations, and expected arrivals.
04
Puppy Selection
When the time comes, families select their puppy based on waitlist order. We’ll share plenty of photos, videos, updates, and personality details to help you get to know the littles.
05
Preparing for home
As go-home day approaches, we’ll help you prepare with feeding, crate and potty routines, veterinary information, and tips to make the transition as smooth as possible.
06
Welcome to the Family
Go-home day isn’t goodbye. We love staying connected with our puppy families and watching our littles grow. We’re always here for questions, updates, and support along the way.
Getting Ready for Your Little
Waitlist, Deposit & Pricing
Joining the Nine Acre waitlist is free for approved families. Once puppies arrive and you choose your little, a $400 deposit is required to reserve your puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferable to a future litter according to our contract.
Current pet-home puppies are $1,800 and are placed with a spay/neuter agreement.
Full AKC breeding rights are considered on an individual basis for approved breeding programs and are priced separately.
What Comes Home With Your Puppy
Every Nine Acre little heads home with a thoughtfully prepared puppy bag including food, treats, toys, travel bowls, a collar and leash, and a blanket with familiar scents to help ease the transition. Families also receive veterinary records, AKC paperwork, and helpful feeding, routine, and puppy-care information.
Go-Home & Veterinary Care
Before leaving Nine Acres, each little receives age-appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, and a health check. Families receive their puppy’s health records to take to their veterinarian.
Pickup & Transport
Families are welcome to pick up their little in person. When distance is a factor, we’re happy to discuss meeting arrangements, ground transport, or flight-nanny options to help get your puppy home safely. Transportation arrangements and any associated costs are discussed individually.
Once a Nine Acre Family, Always a Nine Acre Family
Go-home day isn’t goodbye. We love staying connected with our puppy families, watching our littles grow, and celebrating all the milestones along the way.
Questions after your puppy comes home? We’re still here. Our relationship doesn’t end when your little leaves Nine Acres, it’s just the beginning of a new chapter.
